I'm afraid your response to NW's latest outburst against the fans doesn't pass muster.

This is the quote in question:

"I thought the crowd was excellent," he said. "On the lap after the game I thought the true supporters were there and showed that exceptionally well, and great credit to them.

"They are the ones who are there through thick and thin. You would love to have it your own way all the time, but it's a game of football. It's like life; it's up and down, in and out."

So he isn't just saying "those that stayed are true supporters", he specifically said "I thought the true supporters were there"...which quite clearly means that he thinks those who weren't aren't true supporters. It's not just semantics, it's not just an implication - it's a pretty clear statement. "The true supporters were there" is unequivocal. He also says "they are the ones who are there through thick and thin". Well, no, actually - I left before the lap of honour (first time ever) and I would support Norwich if they were in the Conference and was there throughout the last 10 years (well, 30 actually) when we were crap.

Even if it wasn't intended as such, it just shows the ineptitude of the man with the media, and it's about the fourth time this season when he's made some swipe or other at the people who have supported Norwich long before he was here and will do so long after he has gone. It must be a nightmare for you and Joe to have someone who willfully (or it could, I accept, just be stupidity) aggravates the fans! You're an intelligent man Neil...I honestly don't know how you can work with him.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and I hope he gets it all right in the summer and everyone comes back in a sunnier frame of mind.
