reminds me of trying to land a cessna at Port Elizabeth on windy day on a student solo flight (thinly veiled: 'I used to fly' post).

Several go arounds, mind boggling over which runway to use, ATC on the blower; 'Confirm runway request? Just checking you know the crosswind limits on your aircraft because you will stall on that one?' (or words to that effect, just a bit riper...), further go arounds, landing at what felt like 90 degrees to the runway.

Needed a change of underwear.
