he might over-reach with his "incursion" and thus have a bit of a bargaining chip against the nato-fication of former soviet union states so he can cede a bit of territory he doesn't need with all the economic problems the ukraine has and then it's a double win for him. i don't blame him an all. it'll be on sky anyway, could be epic.
