To perpetuate the current modus operandi, they are all about attracting more and more money, leading to all the worlds best players being attracted like moths to the flame, then the TV rights can be sold for more across the world. It’s just all greed, miles away from the true grass roots of football. That Citeh can exist with a nigh on £billion squad when a community club like Bury, a handful of miles down the road, with all its history, simply died is nothing short of obscene.
