I sympathise. I once, when a Union Rep, was told

Who were going to get told in a months time that they were going to be made redundant. The list included my wife and also my best mate.

Abd the HR c**ts even got me to tell my wife the news the night before the announcement, so she could go into the office the next day - which was one of her non working days - to be formally told by the employer!
