It reminds me of the meta analysis of ivermectin which was basically weighted from all the studies which turned out to be fraudulent and were withdrawn

Of course in your world pointing out all the flaws and getting the papers withdrawn for being utter bollocks would have been ‘yes I thought it would upset some’ 🤷‍♂️
