Long covid isn't that well understood yet

But I can't imagine the jabs don't provide significant protection against it as it's caused by covid and the jabs protect against that and boost your body's response to it.

That's a heuristic argument - don't think there are data available - but I'd be surprised if when data on this are analysed if the conclusion were different.
