I'm not saying they are, but it is quite common that the more one earns, the more
one's accountant is creative with such things.
I'd like to think they're all paying the full 45% of their salary toward things for the wider good such as lovely curtains at Number 10, shady contracts for PPE and various marketing consultancy projects, but it would surprise me.
