I think he flatters to deceive.

If you watch he highlights he does some lovely looking flicks and ball carries but largely with no end product.

His Prem goals were mostly tap-ins (a skill in itself but they felt like products of playing the system) and he had maybe 2 assists, one of which wasn't even a deliberate assist (Pukki took it off his toes after their runs crossed).

I thought Todd looked great last year and his goals were sexier (that lush finish after sorting his feet out woof) and he had more assists but he simply doesn't look fast enough or strong enough to be effective for us. He doesn't look to have a position outside of front left of a 4231. Did he ever really take over a game when Emi was missing?

Hope he goes on to have a great career and prove me wrong but he certainly seems to think he's a big fish in a pond that's too small for him.
