I think the idea of going from one creative player

To a bundle of them (Cantwell, Rashica, Tzolis, Dowell) was a decent one.

Being less reliant on a single point of failure made sense.

Unfortunately, it's taking time for those players to get on the same wavelength as pukki.

In addition to this it's pretty clear we needed more workmanlike midfielders to win the ball and lay off to them and anotger striking option to act as a fulcrum.

I think this is fixable, maybe in January, certainly by next year.
