We were totally overrun in midfield. If you loose the midfield you loose. Simples! You can’t attack and you can’t defend.

How to correct it is not so simple. Ron Saunders did it with Trevor Hockey. We went to pieces after we sold Dixon Ehutu. Damien Francis fun filled that gap until he went to Wigan. Teey was good as was Skipp. It’s an essential position to fill.

We need Maurice Norman back! No we went to Spuds! Mathias Normann that’s it, let’s get him back or a backup at least. Let’s be pragmatic and throw the idea of developing some one out of the window and buy a ready made defensive midfielder who likes getting booked! We need 6’ 4” of Nigerian muscle!!,
