I made it, with no help from the French border guard who told me that I 'couldnt leave the country because my reason wasn't good enough'.

I said that I was a british guy who wanted to travel to Britain with his British son with a British airline to see his aging lonely British mother.

He still said no - we couldnt leave the country.

in the end he called his boss he told him to let us through.
