Separate delta and omicron

Only Omicron infections doubling every 2 days. 4k Omicron today. 10 days to Christmas. 128k Omicron per day plus probably increases in delta? 200k+ cases per day? Factor in delay between infection and hospitalisation and the merde hits the fan mid Jan to mid Feb IMHO.

I'm basically back in pretty close to full lockdown for various reasons. Expecting to stay that way for at least 4 weeks and probably more.

Let's see what proportion of UK Omicron cases need hospitalisation. My fear is that it won't be sufficiently mild to prevent the NHS being overrun :-/
