that's not happening if different refs could give different decisions for the same action, and VAR wouldn't overrule either.

Refs should be more cautious unless 100% certain for things like penalties and red cards. Like linesmen are for offsides now. Then VAR can consistently point out what is and isn't a foul.

Would help to eliminate s**t refs getting influenced by a famous player screaming and flailing his arms around.
