It’s not unreasonable to want to take a bit of time to reassess his goals, given his main one when starting out in management was probably to be Chelsea boss.

I can imagine him wanting a job like Fulham or Bournemouth, clubs with a decent budget for their level.

On the assumption mid table Prem teams are not realistic.
