What a strange assumption to make!

I suspect Smith and for that matter Farke have the resolve to deal with being dismissed by bean counters who know nothing about the game itself.
Strings of consecutive defeats or perceived ‘poor’ results can presumably occur for a variety of reasons and depend upon who you happen to play, inexplicable individual errors and to some degree luck.
These are professionals in a brutal industry which is as fickle as they come.
