Allardyce and Pulis are experienced and well respected. I think
it’s my perception (possibly wrongly) of Webber. I felt he was always on the lookout for the next big thing, someone progressive, with a track record of working with and bringing young players through. Not a manager/coach sacked by a rival. As someone said I also thought he had a list of replacements should the coach leave.
