Rather like Farke, he hasn't become a bad manager overnight and after losing Grealish (think Buendia and Godfrey and Lewis) he was trying to bed in new players and create a system they could play in.
Maybe he wants to come to a club like Norwich and prove people wrong. Lets face it, would you rather live in Norfolk and represent a very fair and understanding fanbase or a s**thole like Birmingham and those Vile, entitled C88ts?
Whilst on the face of it this might currently look like a very limited appointment compared to Lampard it could end up as very good business.
Who would have even considered that he might want to come to us four months ago?
