To a degree yes. The importance of being a 'nice fella' should be important

If we end up with some media-playing c**t like Bruce, or money grabbing w@@ker like Alladyce, then I'll find it very difficult to enjoy being a fan of the club.
I trusted Farke and his approach (win or lose) because I think it was different to anything we've seen before.
I certainly can't think of a manager who has been so invested in the fans, or so enthusiastic toward them.
There is a lot more to this game than winning or losing and that applies to life in general.
