This in spades. We could turf out Delia (and the others) but we are still going to be a struggling lower PL team at best. There simply aren’t enough super rich owners around and we aren’t going to find ones richer than petro states etc.

All that the money being pumped is achieving for anyone is giving clubs the ability to demand (and pay) tens of millions for average players that would’ve cost a fraction of that only a few years ago.

(Point about expectations in wider society is apt too but that’s one for another day)
