Yes, my feeling is one of sadness, rather than anger

My days of getting angry over footy are long gone, thankfully, and anyway I'm not really sure I'm entitled to be angry - I wholeheartedly bought into the self funding model, so can't blame the owners and I accept that this approach means that Webbers and Farke's hands are going to be tied to a large degree, so I don't really feel anger towards them.
The players, from what I see, are trying, just seemingly not good enough, so no anger in their direction either.

It is what is, would have been a joy if it had worked and we were holding our own, playing beautiful football and showing the rest how to do it properly, but that's not happened and that's the sadness for me.
