I can answer this. Don't do anything and especially don't change supplier..
your credit is protected and will be taken over to your new supplier. When my supplier went bust, i then got this email:
"We contacted you recently to let you know we're your new energy supplier and we're just dropping you a line to let you know how things are going, even though there isn't that much we can tell you at the moment.
We're in discussion with the administrators of Igloo Energy Supply Limited to agree what information is transferred over to us and we need this to be able to set up your E.ON Next energy account. The good news is that your supply isn't affected so you won't be left without energy while we agree the details with them.
What tariff am I on?
We've put you on our Next Flex variable tariff, which is protected by the government's price cap, so although these prices might be different to what you were on with Igloo, they're still in line with the current energy market. We'll confirm your prices once we've got your account set up."
