I have another question about this whisky site. I don't buy whisky but I kind..

of feel as though I'd like it.

How can they say this is 12 years old when it then says bottled in 1984? Does the 'years old' refer to when it was taken from the barrel? And how come you can get a 25 year old from the same maker which is half the price? It seems like a very odd business.
