Yes and no. Ever since 2011/12, every time we've been in the PL, we've got worse

We've gone from being not quite good enough to survive (94/5, 04/5, 13/14) to absolute Derby 07/8-esque joke - and that started midway through 15/16 under Alex Neil. We had our worst run in history under him... and what's happened since? Apocalyptic levels of awfulness.

All of which is logical. The owners cannot compete financially, so nor can we. The gap between them and everyone else grows every season - as it also does between us and everyone else in the Prem.

We don't belong at this level. But that's on the owners and their attitude as much as anything else.
