I just assumed it'd be a laugh, and after six months would end in tears as they didn't pay their bills. That was in 2009 and they've been the best client we've ever had. There is a section of the Nigerian economy which is as honest as you could possibly wish for.

I get so frustrated by the lazy "email scam" stereotyping.

Deportation happened when I arrived with what I thought was a multiple entry visa. But it was was a single I'd already used. You should've seen the look of glee on the immigration officer's face when he realised he'd caught one.
