I know I shouldn't take the bait....
because you're as trolltastic about him in one direction as others are in the other.
But......
I think the following is all fair and true:
1. He did very well to take over from Lambert and keep us in the league the following season (see plenty of others, Sheff united, huddersfield, the scum, etc etc);
2. The football played started off ok
3. The football played went from ok to at best described as pragmatic
4. The following season, we were a bit s**t.
5. We were going down regardless of whether he was sacked or not.
I don't think it's fair to say he was a bad NCFC manager, he took over in incredibly difficult circumstances and did very well to keep a pretty limited squad up.
However, the football was bad and if we hadn't gone down then, we would have done the next season. The game was up and so was his time at NCFC.
