Your words prove that you are stronger than you sometimes think Dubs

I suspect many Wrathers were very concerned to read the post that you refer to and that they now feel so much better, having seen your very heartfelt, candid and honest explanation.
You are very fortunate to have had these family members. I’m sure they cared about you so much and that you enjoyed and basked in the warmth of their mutual love. Their loss, is of course that much more difficult to process, because of the special relationships, memories and trust which you had.
The elephant in the room here, is of course the contents of a glass…so many of us have enjoyed its company far too often and for the wrong reasons. It’s a great friend, but only very briefly, when clarity and self honesty are required.
This is indeed your bonkers extended family, but I think it is fair to say that if roles were to be assigned, you would occupy the position of much-loved elder to many.
Good luck and make all of those people proud of you, with your humour, generosity of spirit and wonderful humility.
