The point is not whether masks are useful

But whether masks worn on a podium momentarily by these (no doubt endlessly tested and vaxxed) athletes, outside, is useful- or useful enough to be justified. I think that in the circs it's virtually pointless, other than as an example to others. And absolutely nowhere near justifiable.
