Anyway in my vview we have gone into both of the last two seasons a bit short at centre back, especially when you take into account the recent injury records of our CBs.

In the premier league we got caught out and it cost us.

Last year in the championship, we got away with it but we did still nearly get caught out as we pretty much only had one fit senior centre back for the last quarter of the season. We got away with it, helped in part by momentum but also by Big Andy stepping up to the plate at championship level. i cannot believe for a moment that anyuone at the club anticipated or expected that he could come in and do the job that he did when they were planning the squad during the two transfer windows.
