You suggested that City have not spent £30m so far, and to back this up you are quoting MJB regarding a "budget".

Budget & Spend are not the same thing.

Our PL Budget for this summer would have excluded the Two Gs because they were already "in the building".
But they will still cost approx £14m

And, unless you believe that NCFC paid Burnley & PAOK *before* July 1st (when the transfers were made perm) then that c.£14m will be coming out of the 2021/22 accounts.

So the spend this summer has prob reached £30m already, no matter what the budget may be.

As for the Buendia cash, it would be surprising if all £33m was coming to us in one lump.
