Protection against symptomatic covid dropped from 94% to 64%

Protection against hospitalisation dropped from 98% to 93%.

This is double jabbed with Biontech. I have elderly / vulnerable relatives double vaccinated with Biontech - first jab in January. To what extent do I need to advise caution as the protection from the vaccine dcreases as cases increase?

I know jabs aren't pleasant but I imagine we will have booster doses every few months for several years.
