Further avian news as promised some time ago.

Heard the local owl again in the park opposite last night. Sounded quite a way off though, although it may have been as close as normal but hooting quieter out of respect for the neighbours.

Also, in news slightly closer to home, next door has finished his duck pen, and moved in three ducks. Quack-wack-wack-wack-wack-wack-wack-wack-wack, everytime I go out to the car. They don't like me very much. The ducks, not next-door. They've probably heard of my liking for duck in plum sauce.
