A fab day that was - that Saturday that Ireland beat Italy in 1994
Played cricket got more than a few runs, we won easily & got back to the club early, then watched the footie at Green Man in Stanmore, (unfortunately now a block of flats), got very pissed, laughed till I cried as a mate of a mine ended up in the toilets with a girl who we used to call "The Beast", went to a party, got even more pissed, ended up leaving the party at breakfast after a dalliance with a girl slightly more attractive than the aforementioned "Beast".
Sunday was a quieter day than Saturday.
