Ben, your "message" is both ageist, sexist and offensive. The Board of every football club is made up of a number of individuals who collectively oversee the club as a business.

Firstly this "middle aged housewife" has utilised her special skills in increasing off-field earnings ie catering to nearly a million pounds a year, I suspect she would be the first to admit she does not have the depth of understanding of football as she does catering.

Secondly she is one of a Board of five and simply because she and her partner are majority shareholders, to my belief, they have the same vote as the other Board members. If that were not the case then why do they have to be re-elected to the Board at the Shareholders AGM.

Thirdly, as in any business the CEO is the prime mover and I do not read statements that Karen Brady or the CEO at Colchester "would be better suited to life in the kitchen"

There is a valid point that that there does not appear to be any footballing experience or knowledge on the NCFC Board and I think this should be looked at but this must be the same at most clubs.

Your message board is a useful outlet for fans views but it loses credence when it descends to personal insult and assumes only males can understand the "beautiful game"
