I think its a great move for him

he'll be a guaranteed starter for a club who are on the up and will probably be pushing for Europe over the next few years. And they will probably build their attacking play around him.

If he went to a bigger club, he'd almost certainly play less, and certainly wouldn't have the team built around his strengths.

If he does well for Villa, he can move onto a Champions League club in a couple of years, for a massive new contract and as a genuine superstar.
