Would not have been unhappy if he went for £40m to a top team playing In a European cup

But Villa for £30m? They can afford much more and he is unlikely to win any trophies and pressure to perform will be immense.

Hope he hasn’t done a “lambert” and gone to first club to offer him higher wages - that didn’t work out too well did it ?
