Definitely click bait but I thought it was interesting.

Thinking back, so many of the stories I heard as a child depicted women/girls as vulnerable/passive/victims that needed the help of men to function or else were just a bit boring washing up the picnic things while the clever adventurous boys got on with stuff. It was the same on the telly and in films and for centuries we put up with it.

I love it that things have changed and that the norm is being challenged.
