I'm not convinced it was an injury

I may have missed something specific but wasn't it all a bit vague and I'm sure clubs don't tell us everything that is going on.

The guy is young and could have had any multitute of issues settling here or personal problems back home that he needed time to resolve.

To protect his privacy and buy him time it is easy for the club to cover it with an injury.

I reckon it happens a lot more than we know about.
