Difficult though the past year has been

I just don't think he's done a very good job. Staked his rep on some odd selections that didn't really pay off and I think we've actually gone backwards in regards to sorting out our top order.

Didn't look as if he and Silverwood were on the same wavelength (selections on tours who never looked likely to play, people getting called up mid-tour to gazump others).

I've got a lot of sympathy on the squad rotation/covid stuff, but there seemed to be significant issues that had nothing to do with that.

Be interesting to see what changes this streamlining tangibly makes.
