Honestly I think those six clubs should just be kicked out

It would be messy and horrible for a few years, and EPL would have less money coming in after than before in all probability. But some years hence, let's say three to five for the sake of argument, it would have settled down to a more sustainable model.

The alternative is to let them stay, whether or not the ESL actually happens (and I think they've signed binding contracts with JPM out of which one does not easily weasel). In this scenario the rich clubs will continually act further to concentrate the money in the game, whether that goes up or down, to themselves.

Neither is a particularly pleasing prospect but given the way they've acted I think the former is much better, as it's an opportunity for "never again" and stricter rules to be put in place; there might even be the environment to get the Italian, Spanish, French and German leagues to put something paralell in place to protect their own national games and to stop teams in one place having a structural financial advantage over teams in another.
