And this season there's definitely been a sense among the opposition that we've got better at managing the game and the officials.
I think, to a degree, it's true. Players drawing fouls, making tactical fouls. Massaging the officials.
There's always a degree of gamesmanship in sport.
What left a sour taste in the mouth last night was that Bournemouth's play felt more akin to cheating.
Ah well. Trying not to be too angry about it. It's been a great season and we've got several chances to bring the trophy home.
