That was my feeling too

I reckon the management team thought balls to this - the next match is more the determiner for the champs (or the ones that remain).

Was also apparent that we weren't likely to be the recipient of any 'evening up' decisions so once we went behind we looked to protect some of the key players ready for the final chunk of matches.

They definitely want the trophy.
