Keep thinking about Tuesday

Weirdly emotional about it. My Dad is in his mid 80’s and has been a season ticket holder since the early 1950’s and started watching when he was just 7 or 8. He wasn’t at all well earlier in the year and I just keep thinking how nice it was that he was around to see a performance like that. I live abroad and haven’t seen the ‘rents for well over 18 months, but our phone chat on Wednesday was superb. He couldn’t get over how great this team are and what fun it is just to watch them play. Made me feel very lucky. Just a game, I know, but one to remember.
