I'm sure after one day off players would have a full training session

I suspect they could certainly manage a game if required. You obviously wouldn't want to be playing on one day's rest all the time but I'm pretty confident as a one-off it would be unlikely to be a problem. They've got three full days off before the next game, which is better than the usual Saturday-Tuesday schedule.
