I think he is a good manager who I think has done well at Preston.

Its interesting that when Delia was asked about the guy she hated sacking the most she said Alex Neil, who she said was super nice which goes against his hard nosed public persona.

You could tell from his recent post matcher vs Luton he was emotional and honest.
It takes a lot of guts to admit after 4 years in the job you currently haven't a clue what you best 11 is.
I think losing Ben Davies did not help their recent form either.

Maybe his style only has a certain shelf life of a few years.
I don't think he will have any trouble getting another job.
Preston are not a big club and he has been very competitive with few resources.
