To wipe out £100m of debt owed to him. He will want to retain percentages in the club or ownership of assets if he can’t find someone to buy the club. And let’s face it who can afford to and would want to buy the scum for tens of millions and pay off £100m of debt to get evans out of the picture. Only a billionaire oil baron. And they won’t see Ipswich as a sexy club to buy to show off.
