I dunno, it might be evidence of sensible management

They have a hardcore of fans who can see that NW must go and who aren't going to be influenced by the last result. But they know that to influence the Board they have to win over as many "not sure" people as possible, and a lot fo theose people ARE influenced by the last result. So there's no sense in organising a protest after a win, however jammy it was and however s**te the football was. They therefore choose to call protests when the results are bad, knowing that they'll pick up more of the fickle fools that way.
