I do think that football finance is so precarious all mid sized clubs are at risk of entering a death spiral with the wrong confluence of events.

That said, I don't really get any kind of community vibe coming out of there these days. Not sure if its a chicken and egg thing, but we have stuck well (almost universally, despite various grumbles) with the owners, the managers etc over the roller-coaster years.

The blame for their decline doesn't lien with the fans, true, and it must be really rotten (and as you say be even worse when rivals are shaking their heads in, if not sympathy, pity) being where they are.
