I think our midfield has not been right in the last few games

Rupp is confusing me because on an individual basis his performances have been pretty good but there is no getting away from the fact that over the last 3 games with him in the side, our midfield just hasn;t quite worked and has been played through/byepassed too easily for my liking.

Cantwell going from more or less unplayable to completely ineffective in the space of 3 weeks hasn;t helped either, just at the time we really needed him ti step up in the absence of Emi.

We are still dominating possession, but not creating and both Barnsley and now Millwall have been able to create good chances, far too easily by taking our midfield out of the game with a couple of passes under relatively little pressure.

I do wonder if the time is right to try and bolster that midfield area and give us a bit more presence by playing Sorensen in there.

On the plus side I thought Gianoullis was a lot better last night until the last 10 minutes or so.
