Warning, Brexits post.

Just been speaking to a mate of mine who owns a cheese making business. About half of his sales are to the EU in the form of selection boxes, which retail for 25-30 quid. Since the beginning of the year any animal based product entering the EU requires a vet's certificate costing £108 a pop, clearly not viable for something selling for £30. The way round this is to set up subsidiary company in France, ship the constituant parts as one big consignment, and therefore pay for one vet certificate. He then has to lease a commercial property in France and employ a French workforce to assemble and distribute the end product.

And this donut voted for it.
